Summer Reading Programs

Here are a few more FREE summer things to do! Here are 5 summer reading programs that are great to participate in!

Barnes and Noble (grades 1-6 only) - 1. Read any 8 books. 2. Kids use the Summer Reading Journal to tell us their favorite part of each book. A parent/guardian signs it when it's complete. 3. Children bring their completed journal to a Barnes & Nobel Store between May 26th & September 7th, 2009. 4. We'll give them a coupon for a FREE book! They choose from a list of exceptional paperback titles. **If you don't like the books they have to choose from, donate it to your school library!

Borders (Kids 12 and under) - Read any 8 books. List the books you've read on the Reading Challenge Worksheet. Have a parent/guardian sign the completed worksheet. Bring your completed worksheet to any Borders or Waldenbooks store between May 26 and August 31 to save 50% or more on selected items.

Henderson Library (all ages - adults too!) - Sign up online or in the library. You get cool prizes for reading!

Las Vegas Library
(birth through grade 5) - Download your reading guide online and earn cool prizes!

Chuck E. Cheese - Reading rewards calendar. Read every day for 2 weeks and get 10 free tokens!
